Traditional Homeschooling Programs

Alpha Omega Curriculum Publications (AOP) offers Christian, Bible-based options for homeschoolers, ranging from simple consumable workbooks for preschoolers to a fully accredited high school diploma program.

Alpha Omega produces several lines of homeschool curriculum options. An online option with all the bells and whistles, a traditional paper textbook program to a well organized Unit Study program.

Monarch - Switched on Schoolhouse - Lifepac Curriculum - Horizons -Weaver

Monarch

Monarch AOP's internet-based curriculum, for grades 3-12, includes core subjects (Bible, math, language, science, and history and geography) and electives. Monarch incorporates movie and audio clips, animations, learning games and related web links into lessons, which can be accessed from any computer online. Includes teacher guide, text-to-speech option, grade point calculation, and tech support. Most PC and Mac OS supported.

Switched-On Schoolhouse

Switched-On Schoolhouse (SOS) Computer software for grades 3-12, uses learning games, animation, and video clips. You can reuse software, but the calendar feature will not work for hand-me-down lessons. Auto grading, text to speech. Supports PCs with XP Service pack 3 and higher.

Lifepac Curriculum

Lifepac Consumable workbooks for grades K-12, has lessons, plans, answer keys, and unit tests.

Horizons Curriculum

Horizons Consumable work pages combine with ideas for hands-on activities. Includes preschool, health (K-8), math (K-7), penmanship (1-5), phonics (K-2), Physical Education (preK-12) and spelling and vocabulary (1-3).

Weaver Unit Study Curriculum

Weaver Unit studies combine multiple subjects and grade levels (K-12). Each grade level has the same basic theme. Each volume has one year's worth of lesson plans for every corresponding grade level.

Alpha Omega Academy

Alpha Omega Academy (AOA) Available for Lifepac or SOS users, AOA is accredited by NCA* and CITA**, offers college-prep or general studies high school diploma programs, and transferable credits. National Honor Society and high school graduation ceremony available. AOP Academic Support All AOP students may purchase one-on-one tutoring sessions by phone, for any subject and any grade level, up to 30 minutes per session. Unused minutes carry over and can be used by any student in the home.
