In March 2010, Bob Jones University Press (BJUP) finally got the idea that homeschools are not just mini-classrooms, and they launched a new website tailored to the Christian homeschooling communities unique needs, offering a variety of programs. www.bjupresshomeschool.com

This looks much different than the program I used many years ago with my oldest. At that time the program was geared for group church schools and did not have much support for the homeschooling family.

Homeschool Curriculum products

Traditional homeschool curriculum with student and teacher edition textbooks, activity books, and answer keys. Includes complete kits that include all materials for each subject or grade level.

Distance Learning

Non-accredited video lessons, parental support, and student assessments, available three ways:

1.Online Students work online with automatic record keeping. Purchase entire grade kits for grades K4-12 or individual courses for grades 1-12. Log in from any computer with high-speed internet access, PC or Mac, with Firefox or Internet Explorer and Adobe Flash 9 and Acrobat Reader. Available only in USA, Canada and Puerto Rico.
2.Hard Drive Lease a hard drive box, about the size of a video cassette, from BJUP, and connect it to your home computer. No internet access is required. The box contains all material needed for one grade level, grades K4-8. Return the box after 13 months. Books and support materials purchased with hard drive kit are yours to keep.
3.DVD Lessons are available on DVDs for K4-12. Lease for 13 months, use on your TV or computer, then return to BJUP. Books and support materials purchased with DVD kit are yours to keep.

Academy of Home Education

Non-accredited distance education program provides parental guidance, report cards, standardized testing, transcripts, and annual family events. High school includes general studies or college-prep program, diploma, class rings, graduation ceremony, junior class trip, fine arts competition, class directory, college credit courses, and research paper evaluations.
