The Well Trained Mind is a popular homeschool book by Susan Weiss Bauer and Jessie Wise. Jessie is a former schoolteacher and pioneer homeschooler. Susan is the daughter that she successfully home schooled.

An excellent resource on classical homeschooling it offers non sectarian information for any one researching classical homeschools.

This is the book where I learned what classical homeschooling is about and how exactly to apply it to daily life. Although I do not consider myself a classical homeschool, it does have fantastic ideas for study skills and did glean ideas and encouragement.

This book lays it all out for you. What to do when, what books to read. It has a resource list with suggestions for curriculum as well.

Four parts include information on the foundations of classical education, a middle school program, high school skills, and a full-time homeschooling issues(i.e. grading, college, etc.).
