Traditional Homeschooling Programs, like Abeka, Bob Jones, Alpha Omega all utilize a variety of resources. The base of these programs are traditional graded homeschool textbooks. These may be offered in a consumable format, on DVD or through the internet. Technology has enable these publishers to produce lessons in a variety of formats.
Some of these publishers are accredited, some are not. Some offer full record keeping services as well as providing the materials for you to operate your own independent homeschool.

There are several publishers that provide full homeschooling programs. These publishers all offer a variety of options. Distance learning is available either online or with software on your own computer. Traditional graded textbooks are available to use independently. You can also opt to register for their school and have all grades, transcripts and record keeping taken care of for you. You do the work at home, mail in tests and papers required the school grades and sends report cards directly to you.
